Question by soap: What is the minimum amount of equipment I need to play golf?
I want to start playing golf but there is so much stuff to buy, expensive stuff, I just want to know what I absolutely must have to go to a public course and be able to play and not look like a fool.
I know I need clubs but there are so many, what types do I really need? meaning which ones are used most often and you cant play without. And do I need golf shoes, if not what type of shoes would you suggest that I wear, that most people already own.

Golf clubs, tees, and balls.
I play all the time with my grandpa and that’s all I ever need
