I just started playing golf and everyone keeps telling me I’m a natural and that I play great. I’m not so sure. Today, I shot a 51 on 9holes. Is that good or bad? It’s only the third time I’ve ever played

That’s very good. Bear in mind that the “average golfer” – the people that go out almost every weekend and play golf – cannot consistently break 100 strokes over 18 holes. You’ve almost done that. 51 for 9 holes is just slightly off pace with “bogey golf”. That’s tremendous for someone that’s only gone out 2 times before. Keep up the good play and practice deliberately and you’ll be shooting in the low 40s or better in no time. well done!
